Now, if we want to make this great State of Pakistan happy and prosperous we should wholly and solely concentrate on the well being of the people, and especially of the masses and the poor. If you will work in co-operation, forgetting the past, burying the hatchet, you are bound to succeed. If you change your past and work together in a spirit that everyone of you, no matter to what community he belongs, no matter what relations he had with you in the past, no matter what is his color, caste or creed, is first, second and last a citizen of this State with equal rights, privileges and obligations, there will be no end to the progress you will make. I cannot emphasize it too much. We should begin to work in that spirit and in course of time all these angularities of the majority and minority communities, the Hindu community and the Muslim community – because even as regards Muslims you have Pathans, Punjabis, Shias, Sunnis and so on and among the Hindus you have Brahmins, Vashnavas, Khatris, also Bengalees, Madrasis, and so on – will vanish. Indeed if you ask me this has been the biggest hindrance in the way of India to attain the freedom and independence and but for this we would have been free peoples long long ago. No power can hold another nation, and specially a nation of 400 million souls in subjection; nobody could have conquered you, and even if it had happened, nobody could have continued its hold on you for any length of time but for this. Therefore, we must learn a lesson from this. You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other place of worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or creed – that has nothing to do with the business of the State. As you know, history shows that in England conditions, some time ago, were much worse than those prevailing in India today. The Roman Catholics and the Protestants persecuted each other. Even now there are some State in existence where there are discriminations made and bars imposed against a particular class. Thank God, we are not starting in those days. We are starting in the days when there is no discrimination, no distinction between one community and another, no discrimination between one caste or creed and another. We are starting with this fundamental principle that we are all citizens and equal citizens of one State.

Eid-ul-Fitr Message to the Nation on 18th August, 1947 This is our first Eid immediately following in the heralding of free independent Sovereign Pakistan having been established. This day of rejoicing throughout the Muslim world so aptly comes immediately in the wake of our national state being established, and therefore, it is a matter of special significance and happiness to us all. I wish on this auspicious day a very happy Eid to all Muslims wherever they may be throughout the world --an Eid that will usher in, I hope, a new era of prosperity and will mark the onward march of renaissance of Islamic culture and ideals. I fervently pray that God Almighty make us all worthy of our past and hoary history and give us strength-to make Pakistan truly a great nation amongst all the nations of the world. Eid-ul-Azha Message to the Nation, on 24th October, 1947
God often tests and tries those whom he loves. He called upon Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice the object he loved most. Ibrahim answered the call and offered to sacrifice his son. Today too, God is testing and trying the Muslims of Pakistan and India. He has demanded great sacrifices from us. Our new-born State is bleeding from wounds inflicted by our enemies. Our Muslim brethren in India are being victimized and oppressed as Muslims for their help and sympathy for the establishment of Pakistan. Dark clouds surround us on all sides for the moment but we are not daunted, for I am sure, if we show the same spirit of sacrifice as was shown by Ibrahim, God would rend the clouds and shower on us His blessing as He did on Ibrahim. Let us, therefore, on the day of Eid-ul-Azha which symbolizes the spirit of sacrifice enjoined by Islam, resolve that we shall not be deterred from our objective of creating a State of our own concept by any amount of sacrifice, trials or tribulations which may lie ahead of us and that we shall bend all our energies and resources to achieve our goal. I am confident that in spite of its magnitude, we shall overcome this grave crisis as we have in our long history surmounted many others and notwithstanding the efforts of our enemies, we shall emerge triumphant and strong from the dark night of suffering and show the world that the State exists not for life but for good life.

Pakistan was created for the suppress minorities of India and it suppose to be a secular country, which is the only way in which people form all religions can live in harmony. The idea of rule on the basis of religion is only used by weak rulers as somewhat used by Bush in his first election. Quaid-e-Azam was a strong leader so he in no way wants to put emphasis on religion especially when people kill each other for it. We suppose to be progressive country in which one can do their business as one please. Religion is a personal matter some believe in it some don’t but countries cannot run by it as their text is very outdated. If we want to leave every thing on God then just think where the world would be we are still living like beasts, because everything is done by him. If someone got sick, there is no medicine around because we never have invented it as you know it’s up to God. I don’t want to start an argument on the basis of religion but it should be remain a spiritual thing and politics should remain as practical as possible. From experience we have seen that communism did not work as well as it suppose to, but in my view it was the necessity of that time and it did good on the whole to that nation. The next answer to our problems is capitalism and it has no religion. The countries should be ruled by elected people and most emphasis should be given to education. I am a religious person myself but I do not profess it others because that is the matter between man and his god.

Pakistan was not created for suppressed or oppressed “minorities” but for Muslim minority of India. If Pakistan was to be a secular country then what was the fun in having it a separate one and, in the process get killed over million Muslims? It is advisable to read all the speeches and sayings of Quaid-i-Azam before dubbing him with an opinion.

Let it be clear that Islam is not merely a religion but a constitution of living for man-kind. Islam provides living in harmony to all man-kind. I quote a sentence from the last Sermon of the Prophet (may peace be upon him), “All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white- except by piety and good action.”

“Doing business as one pleases” is not available anywhere on the globe. It provides total lawlessness and chaos. Islam is not a personal matter because, as stated, it is a way of life and life includes contact with others. The people (non-Muslims) who are against Islam have stopped calling Qur’aan as false and have started following some directions given in it while you call it’s text to be outdated. That makes me think that your knowledge is outdated.

Please quote a verse from Qur’aan or a Hadith that says “leave everything on God”. Further, the people who believe in God respect other people and beasts are only among non-believers. Pretending to do and doing are two different things.

I am sorry to say that you have some strange ideas. Who told you or in which book you read that people who believe in God do not invent medicine for diseases or do not treat the sick?

You say that religion should remain a spiritual thing and politics should remain as practical as possible. Will you, please, define what politics is?

You see salvation in “Capitalism” while even capitalist world is getting tired of it.

I appreciate your idea, “The countries should be ruled by elected people and most emphasis should be given to education.”

Here is the answer of your question in a nutshell. If Pakistan is not intended for non-muslim minoraties too, then what is the "WHITE" in our flag (designed by Quaid-e-Azam) stands for? Here is the proof of my point http://www.infopak.gov.pk/flag/flag_description.html and this site is oficial Pakistan site not something created by Western World to defame us.

When our prophet tell us to respect others who are we to create a nation where they are not allowed.

P.S. My heart weeps when I see educated and sensible persons twist history. How can our kids learn anything or advance in the world on the basis of lies?

There is no country in the world that does not have minorities. So did the area which was to be Pakistan and to cover the minorities, white was kept in the flag. No one can deny this fact. By the way, where did I say that minorities are not allowed in Pakistan? Kindly read paragraph 2 of my earlier reply once again.

Madam, be kind to me and not dub me as twister of history. To know about me, kindly go through whole of my this blog and specially through my first blog with URL http://hypocrisythyname.blogspot.com/ with cool mind.
